A Catholic community of faith, hope, and welcome

Living the Gospel with
compassion and inclusivity

We are a rather young church, but our message goes back over 2,000 years.

I came across the following words by the late Bishop John Spong — a man not always appreciated by the Church, but one whom I greatly admire:

God is not a Christian, God is not a Jew, or a Muslim, or a Hindu, or a Buddhist. All of these are human systems which human beings have created to try to help us walk into the mystery of God. I honour my tradition, I walk through my tradition, but I don’t think my tradition defines God — I think it only points me to God.”

These words reminded me of a talk Mother Teresa gave to a group of Indian women.
The group was drawn from many religions, and she told them
that whichever faith they followed,
they were to be good Hindus, good Muslims, good Buddhists, and good Christians.

As you read through this information about the Apostolic Catholic Church,
I ask you to keep these two thoughts in mind.

A Church of Welcome

We are a community where people are welcome, outcasts are loved, the hopeless find hope, and the friendless find a friend, sharing the hospitality of God with all.
