From Father Ulrich in Germany.
I send you my heartfelt greetings from Germany. Last week I made a trip to my home village to visit relatives. During a meal together, I was able to talk to relatives and guests about our church. It was a wonderful time. I also visited a former work colleague, family and friends in a neighboring town, where we talked about our church. In the evening someone asked if I would baptize his grandchildren (twins). I then told him I would be happy to do that, and then they would become members of our church through holy baptism.
It is wonderful to be able to work in the Lord's vineyard.
Because there is great unrest in the Roman Catholic Church in Germany and people need comfort and support at this difficult time for them. I keep feeling how much I am needed as a pastor, and I try to be there for people where I can.
I ask you to pray for me so that I may have the strength to advance the work of the Lord.
